Selling gold teeth in San Francisco
Gold is gold, even dental gold… and it is worth money. Apparently my old gold tooth is worth $50 to $75, depending on the price of gold that day, but who is going to buy it?
I was sent to “Federal Precious Metals” (1652 Irving Street in San Francisco, 415-564-3134) which is quite an experience in that it is a old guy at a desk behind a window with a draw that slid between me and him. He obviously did not see me as too threatening as he opened the door rather than use the draw, but however friendly and helpful he is he said can no longer can accept gold teeth, apparently his dealer won’t buy them any more.
